We put Bradley in a head harness to maximize his leash walking skills and his focus on the handler should he get distracted or distressed. The head harness is not a muzzle, but with minimal direction provides great control. The design provides for a loose fit unless the dog pulls, then the straps get tighter. When used properly there shouldn't be pain involved.
