Grateful for the sun!

Bradley is currently crated whenever home alone. That means that during a work day, he gets to go for a walk midday to stretch his legs. Sometimes that walk is more of a reason to get in a nice piece of lawn and stretch out feeling te sun.

Does it matter....?

Does it matter that I don't know what it is? Hells-to-the-no!!!

We put Bradley in a head harness to maximize his leash walking skills and his focus on the handler should he get distracted or distressed. The head harness is not a muzzle, but with minimal direction provides great control. The design provides for a loose fit unless the dog pulls, then the straps get tighter. When used properly there shouldn't be pain involved.

So unusual!

The world is full of new and interesting things.

Back to School!

Run, Turkey Run!

Went to Turkey Run on the long lead. Got the place all to myself. Just sniffing and running and looking.

Blogging takes mental energy

Just sitting here trying to figure out what to write....

We walk a couple of miles in the morning, not quite a mile mid-day, and a couple of miles in the evening. Sometimes, when we're in a hurry, I'd like to boycott and roll on the ground instead. I wear a head harness these days, which isn't a big deal, but I do try to rub it off in the grass when I get a chance.

So, we've been thinking that Bradley needs more mental stimulation - we're going to start giving him breakfast in this toy - he'll have to work for his breakfast but he'll have fun with it too. And, hey, every dog has to work for his reward!
